Wencke Gwozdz is a Professor of Consumer Research and Vice Dean of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management at Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. With a background in economics, she earned her doctoral degree from the University of Hohenheim and spent a decade at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. Her research interests revolve around sustainable consumption, health behaviour, and consumer policy, with a particular emphasis on nutrition. She explores the impact of consumer behaviour on individuals, the environment, and society, and seeks ways to promote behaviour change. Dedicated to fostering behaviour change and advancing sustainable consumption, Wencke employs cutting-edge quantitative research methods such as experience sampling, diary studies, and field experiments. Her proficiency in these areas allows her to uncover insights and trends that contribute to a better understanding of sustainable consumption and behaviour change. With extensive experience in European research projects such as IDEFICS, I.Family, Nudge-IT, Trash-2-Cash, and PLAN'EAT, she has built a strong interdisciplinary network.
